On March 7, 2024, we gathered exceptional women in travel, tourism, and hospitality as we embraced our vulnerabilities, shared our stories, and rallied for an open-minded and open-hearted future for our industry.
The theme is:
Empowering Change: Reclamation in Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality
There was in-person facilitated networking, as well as an exclusive platform where all participants were able to connect with fellow professionals. Some moments sparked revolutionary ideas, and the groundwork for the future took place.

The Legends in Travel & Hospitality Award is a distinguished honor recognizing female leaders who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to the industry throughout their careers. Recipients of this award have demonstrated exceptional success, as evidenced by the organizations they’ve served, their presence in press and media (including interviews, podcasts, and videos), or through other forms of recognition.
This award celebrates individuals who have left an extraordinary, positive impact on the industry. This year, TIEWN proudly presented the award to Twee Caroll, who received the highest score during the judges’ review for this prestigious honor.
The esteemed panel of judges included Andrea Hutchinson from Questex, Rose Cerato (consultant), Adele Gutman Milne (consultant and business owner), and Kris Potter of The Potter Company.
