“Hospitality has needed a voice to to advocate for gender equality in our industry. Since the launch of TIEWN in 2008, we have seen a lot of active change in the industry. However, it seems to be that we’re making women “post children” for companies to “prove” that their inclusive. When you look at who actually controls money in the industry, it’s rarely women. This is why I am a part of TIEWN.”

For 15 of those years, I was a hotel concierge and part of the prestigious organization Les Clefs d'Or International. In 2015, I earned a special award from the organization created to help foster future generations of concierge, the title equivalent of "Best Young Concierge" in the world.
